CAIRO
2032 Olympic Bid
This is my take on what the olympics might look like if they were hosted by Cairo, Egypt. Design choices pull from ancient Egyptian patterns, the ceilings and murals inside of tombs, geometry of traditional and modern Islamic textiles, and Cairo architecture.

The Mascot
Meet Mau the Cat, named after the ancient Egyptian word for “cat.” His geometric form is inspired by 2D Egyptian illustration, and the pointy-ness of the pyramids of Giza.
Since Egypt is in the top 10 most obese countries, which disproportinately affects children, Mau will encourages kids to stay active and engaged in the Olympics.
